My daughter, who is now 12 years old, started having neck problems about 3 years ago in the summer. I took her to our pediatrician and she referred us to a chiropractor. We began our sessions once a week and they seemed to fix the problem. School started in the fall and the pain returned. My daughter was complaining often and especially at bedtime, about her neck pain. We went back to the chiropractor and he began the spinal manipulations but this time it made things worse. Now, her upper back was hurting too. We went to see a specialist and they scheduled an MRI. Everything structurally was normal. The pain was getting worse and every night I massaged her neck to try and help with the pain. She also started having headaches. I really didn't feel a whole lot different after the treatment, however, the next day, while showering and washing my hair, I did notice something quite different.....I wasn't losing handfuls of hair. To me, losing the hair was a normal thing since it had been happening for at least 15 years. My husband knows this to be true because he's the one that unclogs the drain. Now, when I wash my hair, I lose maybe 2 or 3 strands of hair. I am thrilled!
